Here we are after all of these years
Dancing through time
We go round round round and the world disappears
But I know that I’m not a-lone
When I say that to-day my heart spins like a wheel
Over and over a-gain
And I know this music is real

We stand still and look at the stars
Watch them colliding
Their light rains down, lights up our scars
No point in hiding them now
These beautiful signs of shattering times
Show us that we made it through
And for all of the pain I would do it again
I guess that it’s true that

The world turns round
And we all fall down
Dizzy and dazed
Simply amazed
At coming this far

No more words when there’s nothing to say
But we keep con-versing
We’ve no idea how we got in this play
With no time for re-hearsing at all
Reading beautiful lines, a passage of time
That’s written all over your face
After all of these years our story appears

Tell me please what is real
